06 Mar DABA: Sara Lev
[I am reviving the Deserves a Bigger Audience (DABA) feature of this blog and the red megaphone!]
I had the chance a couple of weeks ago to finally meet Sara Lev. If you don’t know Sara, she is absolutely incredible.
Sara is a current Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) and instructional coach – and former Transitional Kindergarten (TK) teacher – for Larchmont Charter School in Los Angeles, California. Sara also serves as National Faculty for PBLWorks and is the lead author of Implementing PBL in Early Childhood, which is a fantastic and extremely practical book about how to implement project-based learning structures and practices with our littlest learners.
Additionally, Sara is the co-founder of Early Childhood PBL, which provides educators with resources, tools, and strategies to develop and implement PBL with young children. ECPBL is co-hosting its second annual ECPBL Conference in Missoula, Montana this April in partnership with the University of Montana Institute for Early Childhood Education.
Sara has a LOT of expertise and experience to share with us related to deeper learning with young children. I do hope that you will check out her resources. She definitely deserves a bigger audience!
