20 Jun How to Share Google Street View Imagery Including Building Interiors

It’s no secret to those of you who have followed my blog for long, I love exploring in Google Maps, Earth, and Street View. I can spend hours just lucky dipping around the world. When I was a kid I enjoyed looking at maps in school. I’m sure that if Google Street View existed when I was a kid I would have spent a lot of time looking at it in school. 

When using an atlas a teacher can say to a classroom full of students, “turn to the map on page 10 and look at X found in quadrant 1.” When using a digital map like Google Maps and especially when using Street View, it can be tricky to get all students looking at the same thing at the same time if you only tell them what to look for. Fortunately, there is a solution to that problem. The solution is to share a specific Street View image in Google Classroom, in a web page, or in any LMS. 

In the short video that is embedded below I demonstrate how to share specific Street View imagery in Google Classroom and in Google Sites. The video demonstrates how to do this with Street View imagery both outside and inside of buildings.
